It became one of my favorite meat sandwiches, with a lot of flavor and personality. If you don't want to eat it as a sandwich, it also goes spectacularly with white rice and some sautéed vegetables.

Ingredients

1 kg de carne para guiso

100 g zanahoria

120 g cebolla

100 g apio

70 g jengibre

80 g parte blanca cebolla china

100 g ajo

60 g aji amarillo fresco o congelado

350 ml salsa de soya

100 ml vinagre de arroz

500 ml agua

30 g azúcar rubia

1 naranja ( cáscara y jugo)

1 g anis estrella

Sal al gusto

Pimienta al gusto

50 ml aceite

Para terminar el sanguche

120 g de avocado

1 kg of stew meat

100 g carrot

120 g onion

100 g celery

70 g ginger

80 g white part of green onion

100 g garlic

60 g yellow chili pepper, fresh or frozen

350 ml soy sauce

100 ml rice vinegar

500 ml water

30 g brown sugar

1 orange (peel and juice)

1 g star anise

Salt to taste

Pepper to taste

50 ml oil

To finish the sandwich

120 g of avocado

Your favorite cheese

Your favorite bread

Step 1

En una olla agregar un chorro de aceite y sellar la carne previamente limpia y sazonada, dorar por ambos lados y reservar. En la misma olla agregar todas las verduras, dorar por 5 minutos y luego regresar la carne.

Step 2

Incorporar los demás ingredientes y cocinar a fuego lento tapado por 1 hora y 30 minutos o hasta que la carne esté muy suave.

Step 3

Retirar la carne y colar la salsa, agregar un poco de maicena diluida en agua para espesar la salsa y reservar.

Step 4

Deshilachar la carne y agregar un poco de salsa, armar el sándwich y disfrutar.

Step 1

In a pot, add a splash of oil and sear the previously cleaned and seasoned meat, browning on both sides and set aside. In the same pot, add all the vegetables, brown for 5 minutes and then return the meat.

Step 2

Incorporate the rest of the ingredients and cook on low heat, covered, for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until the meat is very tender.

Step 3

Remove the meat and strain the sauce, add a little cornstarch diluted in water to thicken the sauce and set aside.

Step 4

Shred the meat and add a little sauce, assemble the sandwich and enjoy.
